We are seeking a Senior Principal
Financial/Cost Control Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse
individuals. This position will be located in San Diego, CA.
and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Set up cost control system, monitor and control costs
and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control
Perform analyses and prepare reports in order to ensure
that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and
government cost control guidelines.
Prepare budgets for contract work and perform or assist
in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and
- Prepare program plans to ensure program requirements
and statement of work are captured and scheduled.

- Visibility reports
- Performance measurement (Earned Value Management-EVM)
- Variance analyses
- Estimates To Complete (ETC) and Estimates At
- Assists in preparing for internal and external audits.
- Establishing a budget/EAC, analyzing capital
expenditures and preparing reports for programs.
To be considered for this position,
you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills and abilities listed below:
- Bachelors Degree
Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field with 10+ years of related professional experience, OR a
Masters Degree with 8+ year of related professional experience.
- Prior experience in aerospace
related experience with financial analysis and/or reporting.
PC skills required with high level Excel skills (including: the ability to
insert pivot tables, vlookup, and conditional formatting, etc.).
Experience with EVMS and EV reporting.
Interpersonal Skills ability to communicate well, build relationships and
