Northrop Grumman is seeking a skilled Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) Engineering Technician 1 in support of the Hunter Unmanned Aircraft System.

  • Providing technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks.

  • Gathering, maintaining, formatting, compiling, and manipulating technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes.

  • Producing engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics).

  • Performing detailed mathematical calculations using established formulas; preliminary analyses of data where guidelines are provided in such areas as trajectory adequacy, model dimensional consistency; and quantitative judgments concerning technical data.

  • Using Windows computer in performance of analyses and development of documentation/reports.

  • Conducting tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis.

  • Assisting more senior staff members with routine tasks.
  • Referring questions and problems to higher levels.


Basic Qualifications:

  • An Associates degree and 0 plus years of experience. Additional years of experience can be used in lieu of degree.
  • Current DoD Secret clearance or higher, or ability to obtain a DoD Interim Secret security clearance
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows 7 or higher
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook
  • Intermediate or higher knowledge level with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Analysis/calculation experience
  • Understanding of component analysis

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Windchill Quality Solutions 11.0 or other Reliability Software
  • Previous Unmanned Aerial Vehicle knowledge
  • Previous experience with aviation or automotive parts
