Description

Northrop Grumman is seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer 2 for integration and field support of AESA Radar products (Active Electronically Scanned Array). This position will be based out of our Mission Systems Sector at Tinker AFB Oklahoma City, OK.

The Radar Integration and Field Support Engineer will become part of Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Field Engineering organization, working in a rewarding environment and interfacing with multiple engineering disciplines, functional management, and program leadership.

Roles and Responsibilities
Provide Field Engineering support at the customer site working as a member of their team
System integration and test of Prime Mission AESA radar system and test equipment utilized for development/sustainment activities
Responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the radar
Lead field integration and customer support efforts at customer locations


The chosen candidate must be an effective communicator; possess good organizational skills to manage frequent intra-organizational and customer interaction; and be able to work effectively in a team environment and individually with minimal guidance.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:


  • BS or higher in Electrical Engineering or another STEM area and 2 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and work individually as well as a team member.
  • Will interface daily with the customer requiring good verbal and written communications skills.
  • Active Secret clearance

    Preferred Qualifications:


    • Military experience.
