Northrop Grumman Technology Services in Warner Robins, GA is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Specialist.


Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:  

  • Review of program requirements and development / refinement of supply chain strategies
  • Review and validation of manufacturing production Bill of Materials (BOMs) and Depot / Sustainment BOMs when new program requirements are identified
  • Works with engineering and program teams to address drawing changes and identification of sources of supply for new and/or obsolete parts  
  • Evaluation of Material Masters and procurement history to validate material lead times and ensure updates are made when appropriate 
  • Support the Program and Material Management Teams in drafting a Material Requirements Plan (MRP) during the planning phase of a proposal; provide updates throughout the proposal, negotiation, pre-contract award and post award delivery order   
  • Working with Materials Management team to analyze material requirements for production and sustainment program, by Contract or Contract Delivery Order  to ensure MRP schedule is agreed to by functional teams and there is a controlled release of requisitions to support procurement of production and repair material     
  • Utilizing a Material Requirements Forecasting (MRF) and other business tools, generate supply chain status reports that ensure GSC leadership and program teams to track progress from requisition release through material receipt in support of a Programs production schedule and depot repair activities     
  • Works with GSC team to capture supplier production and repair status, defining expedited material needs and well as tracking of late deliveries due to material or production issues defined by suppliers     
  • Represents GSC in NG Material Review Boards (MRB)

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 3 years of related supply chain experience -OR- a Master's degree and a minimum of 1 year of experience. May consider an additional 4 years of supply chain experience in lieu of degree. 


Critical skills required:

  • Understanding of product life cycles - design/development,  production and sustainability
  • Demonstrated experience working with customers and suppliers in the execution and management of procured services and support
  • Experience utilizing MS Office suite, SAP and other business tools used in the execution of material requirements or production planning or logistics support
