Description

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio is seeking a self-motivated, team-oriented, Intelligence Analyst with experience working across multiple National Intelligence disciplines.  The selected analyst will support the Advanced Technical Exploitation Program (ATEP) which provides the Intelligence Community with advanced data exploitation analysis derived from multiple sources.  The selected analyst will also support cutting-edge research and development projects for NASIC and missions partners throughout the Department of Defense.  All work will be completed at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) located at Wright-Patterson AFB in Ohio. 

 



The selected analyst will have knowledge/experience in at least one of the following disciplines:

 

Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR)

Imagery Analysis (IMINT)

Geospatial Analysis (GEOINT)

Signals Analysis (SIGINT)

Human Intelligence (HUMINT)

Measurement and Signals Intelligence (MASINT)

Electronic Intelligence (ELINT)

Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT)

 

 


Responsibilities and Duties Include:

 

 


Perform phase two and phase three analysis on data derived from multiple sources.  Data will be included in various intelligence forums to fulfill customer requirements.

 

 


Analyze intelligence signatures to identify phenomena associated with various collection methods of derived data


Drafting reports using a variety of algorithms, technical tools, and other resources


Communicate across teams in order to provide the best possible response customers


Become a subject matter expert on designated target, platform, or area of interest


Conduct briefings (when asked) to squadron leadership on analytical findings


Respond to customer requests in a timely manner


Participation in designated team meetings


Qualifications

 

This requisition may be filled at a level 2 or level 3.

 

  • Basic Qualifications for an Intelligence Analyst 3:

  • Bachelors Degree in a related field with over 5 years of Intelligence-related data exploitation; OR 2 Years experience with Masters degree. (4 years of experience maybe substituted for lack of a College degree.)

  • Active TS/SCI clearance is required.

  • Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience working with classification handling and marking protocols.

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.

           

   

Basic Qualifications for an Intelligence Analyst 2: 

 

 

  • Bachelors Degree in a related field with over 2 years of Intelligence-related data exploitation; OR 0 Years with Masters degree. (4 years of experience maybe substituted for lack of a College degree.)

  • Active TS/SCI clearance is required.

  • Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience working with classification handling and marking protocols.

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.

 

 

Preferred Qualifications for level 2 & 3:  

 

Bachelors degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) field

 

Experience working in NASIC

 

Familiar with any of the following tools: ArcGIS, IOTS, TMS, GAT, RET, Google Earth, CATS, Opticks, HAAPi, PDP Viewer, SOCET GXP, COMET, Palette, Remote View, MatLAB, MOVINT, Black Wolf, MIST, ERDAS IMAGINE, ENVI, AGITK, WARP and/or GETS
