Northrop Grumman is proud to offer the Department of Defense (DOD) SkillBridge Program, which provides service members and veterans with invaluable civilian work experience and career support during their last 6 months of service, for up to 180 days.

When you join DOD SkillBridge at Northrop Grumman, you join a mission driven team that is committed to your success, as nearly 20% of our workforce is made up of veterans and active reservists. Since 2020, Northrop Grumman has hosted almost 660 transitioning military members and maintains a 95% full-time employment offer rate.

Eligibility

To be eligible, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Has served at least 180 days on active duty
  • Is within 12 months of separation or retirement
  • Will receive an honorable discharge
  • Has taken any TAPS/TGPS
  • Has attended or participated in an ethics brief within the last 12 months

Additionally, Unit Commander (first O-4/Field Grade commander in chain of command) written authorization and approval to participate in DOD SkillBridge Program prior to start is required.
