Spotlight on Software Roles

At Northrop Grumman UK we create and run software capabilities for our customers, more than developing our own in-house products. Now although you could call this consultancy, we are primarily an engineering team above all else. Culturally we are engineers who wish to take on our customers’ missions and partner with them to create the software capabilities they need. We pride ourselves that our focus is on engineering quality and integrity above all else. We perform this engineering in an inclusive and supportive atmosphere that enables our staff to perform at their best.

Our engineers must be keen to learn new technologies, and we are willing to train them. Whether this is in Cloud (our customers use AWS and Azure), full-stack development, User Experience (UX) approaches, or Continuous Integration & Development (CI/CD) tools. Our DevSecOps Lean-Agile teams need engineers with a range of skills. We have recently created Engineering Disciplines to support and encourage staff development.

We work on some of the biggest and most complex data platforms out there. Many of our customers are going through huge transformation journeys and working with Northrop Grumman gives engineers the opportunity to be a part of this.
