Building Partnerships for Stronger Communities
Corporate citizenship at Northrop Grumman starts with people. The people in our communities, the people we employ today and the people we may employ in the future. Together, we strive to make the lives of the people in our communities better, safer and more successful by contributing our time, talent, funding and passion to strengthening the communities in which we work and live. Providing a warm meal to someone in need, introducing a child to the wonders of STEM, helping service members transition to new careers, making our parks and waterways clean and safe; this is the heart of what we do.
Corporate Citizenship Areas of Focus
Northrop Grumman's philanthropic initiatives focus on building meaningful partnerships that transform our communities. Working with dynamic partners, we support the diverse needs of the communities in which we live and work through contributions from the company, the Northrop Grumman Foundation and our employees.
Our Areas of Focus
Funding programs and partnerships supporting K-12 science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education is a top priority. Our support focuses on engineering and technology-based programs that excite, engage and educate K-12 school students and serve as professional development resources for their teachers, with an emphasis on middle school.
Serving those who serve is also a key area of our company giving. We assist military, veterans and their families through initiatives dedicated to supporting work force transition, homelessness eradication, appreciation, and those who are wounded, ill or injured.
Our health and human services contributions are dedicated to programs and organizations focused on disaster relief and issues that are determined to be critical, local needs.
The environmental stewardship initiatives we support address greenhouse gas reduction, waste reduction, water conservation as well as the development of renewable energy sources.
