Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for an Administrative Assistant to join our ISR Center of Excellence team. This position will be located onsite in Rocklin, CA. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performs normal office functions such as setting up and maintaining files
  • Interviewing callers and making proper referrals
  • Arranging meetings and conferences
  • Receiving, referring, or answering mail
  • Reviews drafts and finished documents for appropriate grammatical usage
  • Answers questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures
  • Gathers, compiles and reports on information relevant to supervisors' assignment
  • May take and transcribe dictation

Requires working understanding of MS Office programs, with emphasis on Microsoft Outlook and PowerPoint. As well, in-depth experience with Northrop Grumman support programs such as CATS, Concur, iBuy, Sharepoint and Workday is highly desired.

Ability to arrange and book travel in support of the ISR CoE Lead's requirements, including international requirements - and subsequently completing expense reports, is required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED AND 6 years of experience
  • Must be able to attain and maintain DoD Top Secret clearance
  • Must be able to attain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR/SAP)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Current DoD Top Secret clearance and current Special Program Access (PAR/SAP)
  • Understanding and/or experience of aviation operations, including fundamental knowledge of the working of airports
  • Familiarity and/or experience with the 9th Reconnaissance Wing, Beale AFB, CA

Salary Range: $63,800 USD - $106,300 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
