Northrop Grumman’s Defense Systems Sector is seeking a Contract Administrator with a current Secret level security clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret level security clearance to join the contract team. The successful applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Combat Systems Mission Readiness contracts organization and will support the C4 Missile Defense Business Unit. 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Administers, extends, negotiates and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts.
  • Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
  • Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepares bids; processes specifications, progress, and other reports; advises management of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information.

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree with 6 years of professional experience in business management, finance, accounting, or related fields – OR –Master’s Degree from an accredited institution with 4 years professional experience as described above. We will consider 10 yrs. of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Ability to obtain Secret clearance
  • Experience negotiating and administering various contract types of varying sizes and types of agreements
  • Ability to travel occasionally

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Active Secret security clearance
  • Recent experience as a Contract Administrator in the defense industry
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions
  • Experience with USG and Prime customers

Salary Range: $76,200 USD - $114,400 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
