Northrop Grumman Strategic Space Systems Division (SSSD) is seeking a Business Data Analytics Manager 1 who will operate and manage Salesforce for SSSD. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA, reporting to the Strategic Space Systems Division Advanced Programs and Business Development (AP&BD) Operations Manager as part of the growth-oriented and customer-focused leadership team. The Manager will work across multiple Business Units and Functional teams, including capture leads, AP&BD teams, supporting activities to realize long range strategy plan commitments.

Responsibilities include:

  • Operating and Managing the Salesforce process for the Division.
  • Integrate data from multiple sources and functional teams to provide quantitative insights that guide executive decision making and business outcomes.
  • Works with the BUs and Functional Salesforce liaisons, managing Division user accounts, leading virtual training, and supporting data requests.
  • Managing the drafting and development of executive caliber deliverables, including but not limited to; Monthly Management Reports; SSSD Quarterly Reviews; and Pipeline Assessment Reports.
  • The candidate will manage and coordinate executive-level meetings and pipeline/opportunity reviews, to include coordination with Strategic Space Systems Division Business Units (BUs), and Sector BD Staff.
  • Focal point for Sector Salesforce responsibilities.
  • Attends bi-weekly Sector Salesforce working group meetings.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics, Software Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or related discipline.
  • Prior Salesforce experience
  • Six (6) or more years of related experience in business operations or related field.
  • Four (4) years analytical experience.
  • Skilled with dashboarding software (e.g., Tableau, Tableau CRM, and/or Excel/Power Pivot/Power BI)
  • Experience with KPI / performance metric reporting and analysis
  • Familiarity with data visualization and data modeling tools and techniques.
  • Proven ability to create, compose and edit written materials, and to consolidate data from multiple sources into concise executive caliber summaries.
  • Superior analytical skills - ability to draw conclusions and actionable recommendations.
  • A result driven attitude and a proven capability of working in a collaborative environment across distributed locations and organizations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Full knowledge of industry and NGC practices and processes.
  • Knowledge and experience in business plan development, market research and competitive analysis.
  • Prior Salesforce Administrator experience preferred.
  • Current TS/SCI


Salary Range: $98,800 USD - $148,200 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
