The Sr. Principal Program Planning and Scheduler position reports to the Sr. Manager for the functional management of the Electronic Work Center (ECWC). The ECWC assembles, circuit cards which go into Avionics Boxes that are integrated into Satellites. All work is performed at our Electronic Work Center Manufacturing Facility in Dulles, VA.

The Job consist of the following tasks:

  • Supporting ECWC scheduling of hardware through the work center to meet program needs

  • Work with the Work Center Manager and OTS to schedule hardware though the ECWC to meet program needs

  • Facilitate day-to-day activities through the various work center cells

  • Manages and presents status on schedule and performance for all programs within the work center

  • Assesses issues and works with management to develop mitigation plans to meet delivery goals

  • Schedule work in our Syncrono Hardware Management tool. Analyze data to resolve schedule errors within the software tool

  • Interface with Operation Program Mangers on status of hardware deliveries and issues needing program support         


Basic Qualifications:

  • 10 Years with bachelor's degree; 8 Years with master's degree (Additional years of experience in luie of degree will be accepted)

  • Ability to establish schedules and workflows with the capability to quickly adapt to changing priorities utilizing either Microsoft Project or Primavera

  • Knowledge of Microsoft tools Excel, Word, Powerpoint

  • Reporting Skills

  • Verbal Communication Skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive Knowledge in Primavera scheduling software

  • Knowledge of Syncrono Manufacturing Software

Salary Range: $107,000 USD - $160,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
