Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for an Associate Systems Architect/Systems Architect to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.  This position will be located in Melbourne, Florida.

The Associate Systems Architect/Systems Architect will work to perform functional analysis and Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) processes for incremental capability development and integration on military aircraft platforms in a fast-paced environment. This individual will collaborate with several stakeholders across distributed teams (subsystem developers, system integrators, system testers, etc.) to support delivery of quality design products.  This individual will maintain technical cognizance of subsystem interdependencies and maturity of interfaces for identifying and resolving gaps.

Basic Qualifications for an Associate Systems Architect:
 Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university

 Experience with Systems Engineering principles and products

 Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret or Top-Secret clearance

Basic Qualifications for a Systems Architect:

 Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of experience in systems engineering OR Master’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 0 years of experience in systems engineering
 Experience with Systems Engineering principles and products

 Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret or Top-Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:
 An active, In-scope DoD Secret or Top-Secret clearance
  Previous or existing Program Access Request (PAR)
  Experience with DOORS for requirements development and traceability
  Experience with CORE for system architecture modeling
  Experience with system modeling languages, approaches, and methodologies, such as SysML
 Experience with Agile


Salary Range: $58,800 USD - $88,200 USD
Salary Range 2: $71,100 USD - $106,700 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
