Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is a trusted provider of mission-enabling solutions for global security. The ECAD Design Services Division is seeking an ECAD CAM Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in the Mission Systems organization. This role is located in Baltimore but is a hybrid work-from-home.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for detailed design of schematics, Printed Wiring Boards, and Circuit Card Assemblies
  • Establish ECAD Hardware tools to be used for Missions Systems Execution
  • Support various engineering disciplines: ME. EE, MFG, PCB Producibility
  • Provide leadership to ECAD drafters
     

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering with 2 years of relevant experience
  • Electrical circuit design experience
  • Schematic capture experience
  • Circuit and sub-system test and troubleshooting experience Citizenship is required in order to obtain and maintain security clearance
  • Ability to Self-start and at times work with minimal instructions
  • Ability to Troubleshoot issues with various ECAD Tools and applications
  • Ability to work various Initiatives for ECAD Design/Process Improvements
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with 0 years of relevant experience.
  • ECAD Layout Experience with PWB/PCB Designs
  • Experience using Teamcenter: AWC/DRR tasks and their functionalities
  • Experience using Mentor Xpedition/DXD
  • Circuit board design
  • Electrical stress analysis


Salary Range: $73,600 USD - $92,000 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
