Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Test Engineering Manager for the Launch Equipment team. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program.

What You’ll Get To Do:

As the Command & Launch, Launch Equipment Test & Integration lead, you report to the Launch Equipment Integration and Test Manager and will lead a diverse multi-disciplined team of engineers supporting the Sentinel program. You will be responsible for providing task-oriented direction to your team utilizing management guidelines & general policies.  The test planning and execution team is responsible for the integration and testing at the element level.

Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment. Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices. Provides test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed. Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements. Responsible for testing all customer samples and for special tests that cannot be performed in the test area.

In this role, you will be responsible for:
•Test planning and program performance for the element integration and test team
• Supporting cross team, cross IPT, cross functional working groups to ensure efficiency and best practices

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

Basic Qualifications:
 Associates Degree or an additional 4 years of experience and 5 years minimum related experience

• At least 1 year of leading projects or cross functional teams
• Active DoD Secret clearance updated within the last 5 years
• At least 1 year of experience developing test plans and procedures
  At least 1 year of experience working with Systems Engineering principles, DOORS database, requirements decomposition and allocation
  At least 1 year of experience with JIRA and Confluence

Preferred Qualifications
    Certified CAM
    Active DOD Top Secret Clearance

• Proven innovation strengths and strategic value creation
• Demonstrated performance, people leadership and customer intimacy
• Strong understanding of entire product lifecycle, modeling and engineering best practices

  At least 1 years of system integration and test principles and processes

• Strong communication skills including technical writing and verbal communication

  Proficient in MS Office Products – Powerpoint, Word, Visio, Excel
    Understanding of Northrop Grumman test processes and tools
    Understanding of Model Based System Engineering principles, working experience with CAMEO

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) discipline from an ABET-accredited university with 5 years experience; 3 Years with masters; 0 years with PhD. 
    Prior experience in missile program test planning
    Knowledge/experience with AF Test Directive 99-103
    Experience with ICBMs (MM, PK, Small Missile)
    Active Sentinel SAP cleared


Salary Range: $93,800 USD - $140,800 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
