Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for Property/Asset Control Support 2/3 member to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Test and Evaluation organization. This role is located in Melbourne, FL.

**This position may be filled by either a Property/Asset Control Support 2 or a Property/Asset Control Support 3 based on the qualifications listed. **

In this T&E Lab Operations role you will be supporting aircraft systems development and qualification within a laboratory environment. Maintaining records of property owned by government, company, and associated vendor equipment in accordance with company procedure or government regulations. Maintaining records and logs of property received, transferred, allocated, held and disposed; coordinate property transfers; conduct periodic property inventories; and prepare reports of property status. 

The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/team settings across all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track all property movements within lab environment
  • Maintain accountability of calibrated assets and lab test equipment
  • Receive and ship property from loading dock
  • Process equipment with stakeholders (i.e. security, various IPT representatives, and end users)
  • Participate and lead property audits in area of responsibility
  • Maintain spare component storage area 
  • Maintain and sustain bench stock items for end users

T&E Lab Operations supports testing across multiple shifts. Basic Qualifications (Property/Asset Control Support 2):

  • High School diploma or equivalent and related 2 years’ experience
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and other data entry software
  • Must have an Active, In-Scope DOD Secret Security Clearance or higher that has been granted / renewed within the past 6 years
  • Must have the ability to obtain Special Programs Access (SAP) within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company

Basic Qualifications (Property/Asset Control Support 3):

  • High school diploma or equivalent and related 4 years’ experience
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and other data entry software
  • Must have an Active, In-Scope DOD Secret Security Clearance or higher that has been granted / renewed within the past 6 years.
  • Must have the ability to obtain Special Programs Access (SAP).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with property audits
  • Experienced driving a forklift
  • Experienced with Atlassian Tools Suite 
  • Experienced with Asset Smart, TEAMMS, EPS a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience working in a classified environment

Salary Range: $33,500 USD - $55,900 USD
Salary Range 2: $39,800 USD - $66,300 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
