Northrop Grumman Space Systems is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician at the Promontory Utah facility.

Role Description & Responsibilities:
This role is responsible for installation of electrical systems from engineering drawings. There is a lot of new building and modifications to older existing buildings occurring at our Promontory plant, and this role is to accomplish the growing workload of capital and newly engineered projects. Candidates need to be able to work a 10-hour shift Monday through Thursday, and weekends on occasion.

 
Job Duties:

  • Successful candidate should have sound communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to work closely with coworkers and engineering staff.

  • Assist in occasional maintenance projects.

  • Maintain a safe work environment (personal and professional)

  • Ability to work at least 40 hrs./week, Monday-Thursday, 6:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

    • There are opportunities for overtime which will vary from job to job.

  • Ability to lift 50lbs

Skills & Qualifications: 

  • Ability to read building and engineering drawings and accomplish job tasks from drawings

  • General electrician skills: running conduit, pulling wire, installing lighting etc.

  • Good time management and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work unsupervised as a self-motivated employee.

  • Ability to work around explosive and hazardous materials.

Basic Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Utah State Journeyman Electrician license is preferred.

    • We will consider an experienced apprentice depending on that experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Utah State Journeyman Electrician license with heavy industrial or commercial experience.

  • Intermediate skill level with Microsoft products and facility maintenance software


Salary Range: $51,300 USD - $85,500 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
