Troubleshoots, repairs and services aircraft and engine systems. Conducts diagnosis of malfunctions. Performs maintenance, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, re-assembly or adjustment of various aircraft systems in accordance with technical specifications, engineering instructions, and FAA regulations. Maintains FAA required records, manuals and inspection forms. Requires an airframe and power license.

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a self-motivated, hard-working full-time Aircraft Mechanic 3 for the ROK Global Hawk Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) Program in Sacheon, South Korea.

The selected candidates will perform maintenance, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, re-assembly or adjustment of various vehicle systems in accordance with technical specifications, engineering instructions and applicable regulations.

Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to eliminate problem in minimum time. Maintains applicable required records, manuals and inspection forms. Recommends corrective actions and resolves problems using technical publications and analytic techniques. Removes, repairs, and replaces malfunctioning components.

Prepares aircraft surfaces and applies sealants, adhesives and associated chemicals. Stores, handles, uses and disposes of hazardous material and waste. Initiates deficiency reports, maintenance analysis documents, technical data change, and equipment records.

Records information on maintenance data collection forms and automated systems. Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, determines technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommends actions to company or customer representatives for coordinative product solution.

Basic Qualifications:

- High school or equivalent with 4 years of relevant experience

- A basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite

- Must be a US Citizen with current DoD Secret Clearance

- Able to commit to 2 year overseas assignment to Sacheon, South Korea

- Must be able to support the 24/7, fast paced, operations environment and adapt to changing priorities based on mission need

- Willingness to work after hours and weekends as required

Salary Range: $54,000 USD - $90,000 USD
