LMDS has an opening for an
Procurement Coordinator 4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Chandler, Arizona.

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  

The Strategic Expediting Working Team Lead will perform day-to-day management functions (but not HR people management functions, which will be handled by a Manager to whom the Strategic Expediting Working Team Lead will directly report). Day-to-day management responsibilities will include:

o             assigning work to the members of the expediting team, ensuring level loading, assignments appropriate to the skillset of each employee, appropriate prioritization of critical shortages and hot list parts/procurements

o             personal ownership of Costpoint delivery dates and item notes for the Rapid Procurement organization, ensuring that at all times any open line items contain a best possible future date and reasonably recent item notes containing an appropriately detailed description of item status.

o             ensures that for items which are predictively or actually late or which slip the needs of a program, project, or manufacturing cell, that the Strategic Expediting Team obtains adequately detailed root cause, corrective action, recovery date, and running action item list. serves as a point of escalation for program, project, and manufacturing cell POCs when members of the Strategic Expediting team are unable to provide timely or adequate resolution.

o             ensures that the Strategic Expediting team successfully helps to resolve invoice discrepancies, material issues, metric issues, and other tasks as may be assigned by management.

o             establishes a productive relationship with Procurement Specialists across Rapid Procurement, ensuring that the Strategic Expediting Team is not providing contractual direction and that any action requiring a Delegation of Procurement Authority (DOPA) is appropriately routed through the responsible Procurement Specialist. Works hand-in-hand with Procurement Specialists to engage with suppliers.

o             personally handles the tactical expediting activities as necessary to accomplish the business objectives of LV.

o             contributes inputs to Manager for the performance development cycle of individual contributors on the Strategic Expediting Team. Quickly escalates any personnel/HR issues to Manager for resolution. Sits on the hiring panel for open roles for the Strategic Expediting Team.

o             trains and provides mentorship to members of the Strategic Expediting Team in an organized, intentional format, ensuring that team members have the skills and resources to perform their roles successfully.

Basic Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent and 8 years additional education and/or related experience.


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with FAR/DFARS.
  • SAP Experience
  • Secret Clearance.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. 


Salary Range: $50,500 USD - $84,100 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
