Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Supply Chain Technical Coordinator 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals supporting the F-35 Program with the Global Supply Chain Goods Movement organization. This position is in Palmdale, CA.

  • 2nd shift, 4/10 schedule Monday – Thursday from 4:12 PM – 2:42 AM.
  • Position is onsite supporting production, unable to accommodate a telecommute/hybrid schedule.

Essential Functions:

  • Supports and assists activities within multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain process.
  • Ability to support the movement of goods, parts, hardware, and chemicals critical to production activity.
  • Loads, unloads, and conveys materials and parts to multiple work sites, and performs a combination of tasks under specific directions which may include shipping and receiving.
  • Opens containers using hand tools; counts and weighs materials and records information.
  • Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and machines by hand; loads or unloads materials into or from truck trailers by hand.
  • Conveys materials using hands, truck, forklift, or other devices; stacks or assembles materials; aids by lifting heavy objects by hand.
  • Works closely with the Supply Chain Planning Specialist Production Integration team and shop floor production personnel.
  • Delivers kits and chemicals and verifies quantities and part numbers.
  • Wraps and packs kits to send to on and offsite locations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 years of experience in logistics support, shipping/receiving, warehousing, and/or inventory control.
  • Ability to obtain forklift certification.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs. or more and walk or stand for extended periods.
  • Valid driver’s license, or ability to obtain one.
  • Ability and desire to work 2nd shift.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience using a forklift/reach lift/pallet jack.
  • Prior experience using SAP/ MES or production based software.
  • Hazmat or chemical handling experience.
  • Experience in Aerospace Manufacturing.

Salary Range: $42,100 USD - $70,100 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
