You will become a part of Northrop Grumman’s Global Supply Chain Team within the Navigation and Cockpits Systems Sector.

This position is responsible for the direct supervision/management of the staff. Responsible for providing objective-oriented direction to subordinates utilizing mgmt guidelines & general policies. This leader is responsible for the training, development and retention of the team.

In addition to the functional responsibilities, this position manages a segment of a program which includes planning and program performance addressing cost, schedule, technical performance, and quality of a work package, subsystem, or related group of work packages on a large system development-type contract or full responsibility for all aspects of program performance on a large delivery order or mid-size technical services-type contract. This role is also responsible for the development and long-term supply chain strategies and networks that address capacity issues, production location decisions, etc. in support of business growth. Supports business execution of new programs and initiatives that include promotional activities, forecast and coordination for key events, new product launches, and network redesigns. Monitors key performance indicators, analyzes cost-to-serve performance data, and coordinates cross-functional work teams to increase effectiveness of supply chain initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain a Secret Level Security Clearance
  • Understanding of supplier management
  • Experience or training as a cost account manager
  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Project
  • Understanding of Earned Value Management
  • Demonstrated ability to manage to a program baseline
  • Ability to brief all levels of leadership
  • Ability to work independently or as a team member.
  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 6+ years combined experience in Business management, Subcontracts, Purchasing, Contracts, Finance, or Project Management or a minimum of 4+ years combined experience in Subcontracts, Purchasing, Contracts, Finance, or Project Management with a Master’s Degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Certified Cost Account Manager
  • Demonstrated experience with Earned Value Management
  • Experience with SAP procurement & accounting systems
  • Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management
  • Experienced managing suppliers/vendors
  • Risk mitigation experience
  • Change Management experience
  • Supplier selection/management experience on US Government contract(s). 


Salary Range: $122,200 USD - $183,400 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
