Northrop Grumman Space Sector is seeking a Supply Chain Subcontract Specialist (Level 2) to join our team on a full time basis in Aurora, CO. This position includes the ability to work from home for up to 2 days per week.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Works with Northrop Grumman’s Global Supply Chain to source and procure specialized goods and services in support of a portfolio of programs

  • Coordinates and collaborates with key stakeholders, such as engineering, quality, planning, and operations to finalize statements of work and specifications

  • Pre-award activities including, but not limited to, preparation of requests for proposals/quotes, analysis of proposals/quotes and negotiation of subcontract provisions, terms, and conditions

  • Facilitates subcontractor vetting and approval

  • Selects or recommends subcontractors

  • Administers subcontractor non-disclosure agreements

  • Ensures compliance with public law requirements, company policies, import/export regulations and prime contract flow-down clauses

  • Writes and awards subcontracts (if within delegated procurement authority) or obtains necessary approvals for subcontract award (if outside of delegated procurement authority)

  • Post-award activities including, but not limited to, subcontract administration, modifications, tracking, validation and payment of invoices, and subcontract closeout

  • Monitors supplier quality, reliability, and ability to support required delivery schedule

  • Assists in material receipt and property management documentation as required

  • Continuous process improvement to achieve overall efficiency and success of supported programs

  • Employs sound business practices

  • Identifies strategies and opportunities to reduce cost, improve efficiency, and manage risk

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of experience; 1 year with a Master’s for a level 2; in lieu of degree, 7 years of experience will be considered

  • Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP

Salary Range: $65,000 USD - $97,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
