The Global Supply Chain team supporting the Aircraft Survivability business unit is looking for Supply Chain Planning Specialists! Join this fast-paced team in helping to manage all facets of the supply chain.

Responsibilities:
Primary interface across supply chain to the program office. Defines and develops material strategy. Responsible for the assessment of supply resources; aggregates and prioritizes demand requirements; plans inventory, distribution requirements, production, material and rough-cut capacity for all products. Participates in make/buy process, long-term capacity and resource planning; product phase-in/phase-out, manufacturing ramp-up, end-of-life management, sourcing decisions and product-line management. Analyzes and aggregates supply / demand requirements. Analyzes purchase material supply/demand position using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools. Plans inventory levels based on dependent and independent Bill-of-Materials (BOM) requirements. Assesses rough-cut capacity for current and short-term manufacturing requirements. Participates in long-term capacity and resource planning to ensure proper scheduling of new product line phase-ins as well as existing product line phase-outs. Receives/reviews requirements for non-standard parts. Analyzes lead times and identifies critical path procurements. Work on proposals for new business. Responsible for earned value performance. Identify and mitigate supplier schedule and cost concerns. A strong commitment and collaborative approach is paramount. Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as project management, analytical, planning, presentation and human relations’ skills are required. Basic Qualifications(A04):

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience in supply chain, contracts, business and/or related field
  • Master's degree and 8+ years of experience in supply chain, contracts, business and/or related field
  • US citizen with ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance
  • Ability to be agile and work in a fast passed engineering environment
  • Ability to work in a team environment while also being able to work independently with limited oversight
  • Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking and innovative behaviors in past projects, roles or experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Supply Chain or Business Management
  • Previous experience in Supply Chain, Business or Operations, or financial planning
  • Experience in Federal and Defense contracting requirements including ITAR, DOS licenses, FAR and DFARS.
  • Demonstrated experience with Earned Value Management
  • Experience with SAP/SAR Program
  • Current DoD Secret or higher security Clearance


Salary Range: $102,200 USD - $153,200 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
