Northrop Grumman is seeking a Procurement Manager 1 to work in one of the following locations:

  • Roy, UT
  • Huntsville, AL
  • Colorado Springs, CO

The Procurement Manager will provide leadership and oversight of a dynamic team of procurement professionals procuring commodity aligned hardware and software for the Northrop Grumman Space Systems. This position reports supervisory responsibility for a team of Supply Chain Procurement Specialists.

Responsibilities require the individual to lead a team performing all phases of the procurement process, including negotiating Overriding Terms and Conditions Agreements, and performing large competition/bundling opportunities.  The individual will be responsible for mission success of their supply chain responsibilities and ensuring the development of talent to grow in GSC.  The position works with Planners, Program Management, Technical Leads, and other functional team members to manage the relationship with suppliers in support of Program performance and Space Operations objectives.

As a Manager, the position will have employees reporting directly to them; which entails day-to-day direction and oversight of the employees’ work product to include the preparation, negotiation, and administration of a mixed portfolio of procurement and assuring compliance with company command media and government regulations.  They will work closely with the SDS Site Procurement Manager to meet sector and organizational strategy and objectives and to manage oversight of the employees work product and individual career development needs.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of supply chain or business management experience.  Or, in lieu of a degree, 8 years of experience in supply chain or business management experience.
  • 1 year of experience in a lead or supervisory role
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP proficiency
  • FAR/DFARS experience
  • Experience supporting proposals with multiple supplier/partners
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office; including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

This position reports to Roy, UT, USA, however, you are able to work from any of the additional 2 locations listed above.


Salary Range: $85,400 USD - $134,800 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
