Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems sector is seeking an experienced professional for the Triton Enterprise in Rancho Bernardo, San Diego CA at the Autonomous Design Center of Excellence to perform the role of Triton SE Database Lead

The Triton System Engineering (SE) Database Lead supports program engineers and program management through administration of the Triton SEIT databases. In this role the selected candidate will be the DOORS database administrator for the Triton program. They will be responsible for managing both the unclassified and classified DOORS database for requirement, interface, and verification definition. 

The database lead will develop DOORS DXL scripts for requirements and verification metrics reports. The database lead will support the R&V team to define, update, and manage specifications, and ICDs in DOORS. Throughout the development of the Triton system, the database lead will assist the SE team in the development of verification reports and manages the verification process using verification metrics.

The SE Database lead will be responsible for, among other tasking
-    Administration and maintenance of the Triton DOORS database
-    Development and execution of DXL scripts and other database automation
-    Coordination and Collaboration across multiple IPTs to ensure streamlined requirements process
-    Investigation of transition into forward looking tools and Agile/MBSE requirements management processes
-    Development and reporting of requirements management metrics to IPT and program leadership
- Development of database management best practices for classified/unclassified merges and database synchronization with NAVAIR

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 15 years' experience, or Master’s Degree with 13 years of experience
- Experience with requirements database system administration
- Knowledge of requirements change control process
- Knowledge of MS Office applications, and experience working in a technical environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability working in IBM Rational DOORS and/or DOORS NG
- Knowledge of OR experience in writing DXL scripts
- Strong Rational Tool background and knowledge of processes
- Demonstrated knowledge of Change Management process
- Knowledge of System engineering lifecycle process
- Understanding of MBSE practices and tools
- Teamcenter experience, SharePoint experience
- Active TS clearance

Salary Range: $141,800 USD - $212,800 USD
Salary Range 2: $156,000 USD - $234,000 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
