Northrop Grumman Enterprise Services is seeking a Manager Computer Systems Analysis 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in defining the future.  The position will be located in Linthicum, MD, and will require the selected candidate to work on-site, full-time, at our Linthicum campus.

This position will be responsible for the build out and operations of an enterprise classified corporate infrastructure that supports multiple programs across every Northrop Grumman sector as a service.  As the operations manager, the successful candidate will bring a strong management approach with the ability to also understand technical details and lead this important service offering.

The position requires leadership, excellent communication skills, and a focus on process in order to deliver as it is a geographically dispersed team of systems administrators, network engineers, and desktop technicians.  An ability to interface with all levels of management is important. Responsibilities will include interfacing with sector CIOs, their staff, sector program managers, and executive leadership; developing program plans and milestones and then delivering on them; ensuring processes are documented and followed, and that services remain available and relevant to our customers. Occasional travel may be required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university, in addition to 7 years of experience (with a Master's) or 9 years of experience (with a Bachelor's).

  • Strong leadership qualities including excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • Prior management and leadership experience, ideally in project management or IT service management.

  • An active DoD Top Secret level security clearance; maintaining the required security clearance will be a condition of continued employment.

  • The ability to obtain a Special Access Program (SAP/SAR) clearance within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company, and also by customer and/or program requirements; maintaining a SAP/SAR clearance will be a condition of continued employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A strong project management background is highly desired.

  • Experience performing systems administration of Windows or Linux servers and/or experience building and maintaining networks utilizing Cisco technologies.

  • Familiarity with enterprise data center architectures and technologies.

  • Familiarity with virtualization and cloud computing technologies.

  • Familiarity with NISPOM, RMF, and JSIG standards.

  • Ability to interface with all levels of employees and management.

  • Ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret SCI security clearance.

  • Experience performing operations in an Agile framework


Salary Range: $124,600 USD - $186,800 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
