In this role, the Cyber Software Engineer will:

  • Be part of a team of Software and Test engineers in the design and development of new enterprise systems
  • Apply technical expertise in solving integration problems

Basic Qualifications for Associate Cyber Software Engineer

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related STEM degree and a minimum of 0-2 years related experience.
  • Must have 0-2 years development experience with multiple programming languages such as C#, Java, or C++
  • Must have an active Secret Clearance
  • Must be willing to upgrade to a TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph

Preferred Qualifications for Associate Cyber Software Engineer

Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:

  • 0+ years experience developing solutions on AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and/or Azure
  • Certification(s) from AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and/or Azure
  • Experience with Infrastructure-As-Code technologies such as Terraform or Ansible
  • Experience configuring network infrastructure such as firewalls, routers, and load balancers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to understand and articulate how a system design affects usability, security, and performance
  • Experience using Windows and Linux-Based operating systems via the command line
  • Experience with Powershell or Bash scripting

  • 5+ years experience developing solutions on AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and/or Azure
  • Must have an active Secret Clearance
  • Must be willing to upgrade to a TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph

Preferred Qualifications for Principal Cyber Software Engineer

Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:

Salary Range: $74,900 USD - $112,300 USD
Salary Range 2: $111,600 USD - $167,400 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
