Northrop Grumman Tactical Space Systems is seeking an Manufacturing Asset Management Support 2 located in Sterling, VA. This position will be fully engaged with the Manufacturing team and other functions to help develop and maintain/update Manufacturing current assets (software/equipment).

In this role, the selected candidate will be expected to:

  • Adhere to strict Enterprise Systems security guidelines in all cases

  • Administers Manufacturing purchase and inventory system and management system

  • Updates and administers asset databases, tracking life cycle of all assets

  • Create and maintain user account and permissions

  • Creates and maintain system/data diagram and documentations

  • Develop and update training on usage of the system and recommend updated procedures as necessary

  • Support testing and database integrations

  • Report asset status as required for all recurring and non-recurring efforts

  • Notifications of system of down time, issues, and updates

  • Receives and manages inventory, ensures security of assets while in inventory

  • Maintains and manages supplier records, service level agreements, software licenses information and updates, and assists in developing Manufacturing purchasing standards and procedures. 

  • Receives new equipment and software requests and monitors procurement and deployment activities. 

  • Verifies and track financial data (e.g., leased, depreciated, or expensed), and monitors and reconciles changes in inventory and performs spot checks to ensure process and system quality.

  • Collaborate with internal and external teams on special projects, as necessary


Basic Requirements:

  • Must be a US citizen and a High School Diploma or Equivalent, or 2 or more years of related experience

  • Intermediate MS Excel, data analysis and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills

Preferred Requirements:

  • SharePoint administration and maintenance

  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Cognos BI, and advanced MS Excel and data analysis skills

  • Highly self-motivated and directed

  • Strong customer service orientation

  • Sense of urgency

  • Commitment to working as a member of a team and ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary Range: $38,800 USD - $64,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
