Northrop Grumman’s Enterprise Services organization is seeking a skilled ServiceNow Software Analyst/Developer to support various integrations to/from our ServiceNow platform.  In this position, you will become part of the integration team of experts connecting data from our ServiceNow platform, collaborating on integration best practices, identifying automation opportunities, and defining solutions.  You will need to be a self-starter, working in an agile environment focusing on innovative service delivery.    

 

This position will be located as a virtual telecommuter and can be hired as a Level 2 or Level 3 depending on the candidates experience and education.  

Roles and Responsibilities: 

Responsibilities the successful candidate will be accountable for include, but are not limited to:

  • Designing, developing, and deploying integrations in support of enterprise initiatives

  • Modifying, maintaining, and modernizing existing integrations

  • Documenting data flows, solutions, and test results

  • Scheduling and monitoring integrations

  • Partnering with Information Security & Privacy to ensure compliance

  • Mentoring, training, or demonstrating to other professionals, as required

  • Collaborating with product owners and stakeholders to prioritize efforts to ensure continuous value to the business

Level 2 Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related field with at least 2 years of related and relevant experience

  • At least 2 years of experience with developing solutions using one or more of the following technologies:

o    JavaScript/JSON

o    REST and SOAP API

o    PowerShell

o    ServiceNow Flow Designer

  • Proven ability to research new technologies for solution creation

  • Practical use of the software lifecycle and solution implementation including:

o    Research

o    Design

o    Development

o    Testing

o    Customer Coordination

  • Demonstrated use of various communication channels and software to interact with virtual customers and development teams

  • Availability to perform emergency on-call duties

  • Ability to travel, on occasion, to support different locations

Level 2 Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with or knowledge of PowerShell, XML, Python

  • Experience with Object Oriented Programming

  • Experience with ServiceNow

  • Understanding of general networking principles

  • Cloud architecture and integration

  • Agile Experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Solid organizational skills; ability to juggle multiple assignments and manage changing priorities

  • Great attention to detail and strong conceptual, analytical, and planning skills

Level 3 Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in STEM related field with at least 5 years of related and relevant experience

  • At least 5 years of experience with developing solutions using one or more of the following technologies:

o    JavaScript/JSON

o    REST and SOAP API

o    PowerShell

o    ServiceNow Flow Designer

  • Experience with Object Oriented Programming

  • Experience with ServiceNow

  • Understanding of general networking principles

  • Ability to research new technologies for solution creation

  • Practical use of the software lifecycle and solution implementation including:   o    Research

o    Design

o    Development

o    Testing

o    Customer Coordination

  • Providing technical documentation of software changes

  • Performing emergency on-call duties

  • Great attention to detail and strong conceptual, analytical, and planning skills


Salary Range: $74,900 USD - $138,400 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
