Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Principal Regulatory Compliance Analyst (level 3) OR Senior Principal Regulatory Compliance Analyst (level 4) to join our qualified and diverse Government Relations & Compliance team. This position is a Full Time Telecommute role, and also has the option to work on-site in Redondo Beach, CA or Melbourne, FL. The selected candidate will report to the Manager, Audit Liaison & Labor Reporting.

Essential Functions:

  • Audit support (i.e., MAAR6, Business Systems, etc.)

  • Indirect cost reviews

  • Labor reporting

  • Responds to charging practice and policy inquiries

  • Interprets federal and state and/or international regulations as they apply to products, financial processes, and other processes, practices and procedures

  • Implements policies and procedures to ensure that these are in compliance with the appropriate statutes and regulations and that regulatory reporting requirements are met

  • Investigates and resolves compliance problems, questions, or complaints received from other units of the company, customers, government regulatory agencies, etc.

  • May develop and implement programs designed to increase employee awareness and knowledge of compliance policies

  • May audit and evaluate current policies, procedures, and documentation for compliance with government laws and regulations

Basic Qualifications:

  • Principal Regulatory Compliance Analyst (level 3) - Master's degree with 4 years’ experience or a Bachelor's degree with 6 years of experience in compliance, accounting, finance, and/or cost related experience

  • Senior Principal Regulatory Compliance Analyst (level 4) - Master's degree with 8 years’ experience or a Bachelor's degree with 10 years of experience in compliance, accounting, finance, and/or cost related experience

  • Knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

  • Ability to telecommute full time OR work ability to work on-site weekly in Melbourne, FL or Redondo Beach, CA.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • DCAA audit experience

  • Aerospace/Defense Industry experience

  • Internal Cost Scrub experience

  • Working knowledge of Tableau and Alteryx

Sr Principal Regulatory Compliance Analyst (Level 4) - $94,500 - $141,700

Melbourne, FL:

Principal Regulatory Compliance Analyst (Level 3) - $72,400 - $108,600

Sr Principal Regulatory Compliance Analyst (Level 4) - $89,800 - $134,600

Redondo Beach, CA

Principal Regulatory Compliance Analyst (Level 3 - $83, 800 - $125,800

Sr Principal Regulatory Compliance Analyst (Level 4) - $103,900 - $155,900

This position reports to Unknown City, CA, USA, however, you are able to work from any of the additional 3 locations listed above.


Salary Range: $72,400 USD - $125,800 USD
Salary Range 2: $89,800 USD - $155,900 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
