Northrop Grumman offers a challenging career opportunity in our Operations team within the Mission Systems sector at our Rolling Meadows, IL facility. The Associate Manufacturing Analyst (Manufacturing Analyst 1) position supports production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment. Performs administrative activities interacting with a variety of cross functional areas while primarily supporting the Operations Program Management (OPM) team. The Associate Manufacturing Analyst will provide support throughout all phases of production and sustainment programs (planning, execution, closeout). Incumbents are generally experienced in one or more areas of manufacturing operations.

Specific Responsibilities will include:

  • Assist OPM team members in scheduling and execution of programs
  • Compile inputs from Operations Program Management to initiate program loads and reschedules in our Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
  • Work with material requirements team to execute material transfers in support of various programs
  • Review material shortages and take action to bring to closure
  • Will work with senior level OPM’s on direction of critical needs of the programs

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Demonstrated experience successfully working on teams and projects
  • Ability to communicate, both written and verbal, with several layers of coworkers and management
  • This position requires a U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One year of experience in a manufacturing environment, such as material management, supply chain, planning and scheduling, production control, or quality assurance
  • General knowledge of manufacturing
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP), production planning, and material management


Salary Range: $55,400 USD - $83,000 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
