Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) is looking for a Quality Analyst to support a program located in our Palmdale, CA facility.

The Quality Analyst will provide accurate and precise analytical analysis on company products, raw materials, parts, processes, product manufacturing, and finished goods to ensure defined contractual, regulatory, and quality standards are met. Candidate may conduct non-conformance tests of manufactured or tested product, assist in investigation process failures and provide objective analysis.

Responsibilities include:
• Document, review and analyze results of tests and test reports
• Operate and maintain analytical instrumentation and equipment
• Review documentation to ensure compliance with product specifications
• Ensure established sampling and process control procedures are followed
• Establish and maintain effective laboratory test procedures
• Review material specifications to ensure compliance with configuration management policies
• Maintain inspection and approval system, investigates and recommend solutions to production and quality problems and deviations from established standards
• Effectively communicate, engage and interact with other departments in a professional manner in high stress situations. Strong organizational skills needed to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years' experience in Quality Assurance or 7 years of
Quality Assurance experience in lieu of a degree
• Knowledge of Nonconforming Material (NCM) control system and governing procedures and documentation

Strong computer skills needed (Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook)
• The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance and Special Program Access

•Strong M365 knowledge and skills

Salary Range: $68,100 USD - $102,100 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
