Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Site Employee Experience Representative to join a team of qualified and diverse individuals in Gilbert AZ supporting the Tactical Space Systems division as a member of the Employee Experience Team.

In this position, the selected candidate will have responsibility for onboarding talent, engagement events, services/amenities and employee experience opportunities across the division. As this work spans across a diverse set of stakeholders, this individual will be expected to collaborate effectively and partner across organizations -- Human Resources, Communications, Site Operations, –to develop, implement, measure communicate, and support change management associated with such programs for the Division. 

The responsibilities of the Site Employee Experience Rep include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the assessment of the current talent onboarding process and identify areas that need refactoring for effectiveness, efficiency, and employee experience

  • Assess current ambient environment in Gilbert and provide refactoring recommendations

  • Implement approved plan for enhancements to onboarding and the Gilbert ambient environment to nurture and foster a diverse and inclusive environment with the goal of retention

  • Developing site level processes, procedures and guidance documents aligned to the Space Systems sector and TSS division

  • Coordinate and execute key projects and administrative tasks in support of the site-specific strategy, adapting to several planned and unplanned variables, and working within a defined timeline and budget

  • Creating and executing communication and change management plans across all stakeholders (Division, Program, Functional, etc) to build buy-in and ensure program effectiveness

  • Support the logistics and technology management for site events, meetings, and culture-building activities

  • Defining, organizing and executing developmental and networking experiences for employees; inclusive of programming for interns, rotational employees, new hires, manager community of practices, etc.

  • Preparing charts and briefings for status and progress meetings, education and process instruction, instructional materials and other materials as needed or requested

  • Attending and presenting, as needed, to ensure stakeholder awareness and to support Executive leadership

  • Manage and track program inventory, or SWAG, to ensure enough product to meet new and continuing needs

  • Support financial needs through timely and accurate processing of expenses and/or invoices from vendors

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Basic Qualifications:

This requisition may be filled at either a level 3 or a level 4.

Basic Qualifications for a Level 3: 

  • Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience leading projects – OR – 4+ years of experience as outlined with Master-level degree. 

Basic Qualifications for a Level 4: 

  • Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience leading projects – OR – 8+ years of experience as outlined with Master-level degree. 

Additional Basic qualifications for both levels:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Possess a high level of integrity when handling sensitive and confidential information

  • Experience executing projects with specific outcomes and deadlines

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong judgement, problem solving and organizational skills, and superb attention to detail

  • Experience developing content, packaging, and briefing communications

  • US Citizenship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment

  • Affinity for developing solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity

  • Strong business presence with a history of cultivating trusting relationships with multiple teams and leaders

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with accuracy and composure

  • Experience leveraging data to create and execute communications strategies, plans, programs and events

  • Experience with Agile processes

  • Aerospace and Defense experience

  • Experience working with engineers and manufacturing technicians


Salary Range: $72,400 USD - $108,600 USD
Salary Range 2: $89,800 USD - $134,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
