This position is for the role of a Program Integrator. The selected candidate will be part of a diverse organization of project integrators within the Program Operations Homeroom on a restricted effort in Palmdale, CA.

This position will report to the Program Integration Team (PIT), supporting Enterprise Operations, and oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects, serving as liaison between multiple Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), project management, project teams, and line management. 

Primary duties will include reviewing status of projects and budgets, managing schedules, and preparing status reports. The selected candidate will assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients. Gather requirements and works across multiple IPTs to support program SOW.

This position can be filled at either a Project Manager level or a Principal Project Manager level

Basic Qualifications for a Project Manager:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and 3 years of experience in Project Management, Program Integration/Execution; 1 years with Master's degree
  • Current, active DoD Top Secret Clearance within 4 years of last investigation / adjudication
  • Skilled use of Microsoft Office Products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project)
  • Working knowledge of Project Management principles
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and 6 years of experience in Project Management, Program Integration/Execution; 4 years with Master's degree
  • Current, active DoD Top Secret Clearance within 4 years of last investigation / adjudication
  • Skilled use of Microsoft Office Products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project)
  • Working knowledge of Project Management principles
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current Special Program Access
  • Master's Degree
  • Project integration experience
  • Possess the ability to adapt quickly in a rapidly changing environment
  • Be able to organize and execute tasks well and to a level of completion that creates value given vague success criteria
  • Have a positive attitude and be able to overcome obstacles well
  • Able to learn new processes and technical information quickly
  • Excel in an environment with multiple stakeholders giving input into tasks
  • Have good communication and work well with cross-functional and diverse groups
  • Aerospace and/or Defense Industry Experience

Salary range for Project Manager:  $68,100 – $102,100

Salary range for Principal Project Manager:  $83,800 - $125,800


Salary Range: $68,100 USD - $102,000 USD
Salary Range 2: $83,800 USD - $125,800 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
