We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team as we work on a large priority capture for NGAS. The Baseline Team is responsible for ensuring that the Capture team has all of the documents that they need, to the quality that they need, and by the time they need them in order to win this capture effort.

This position will be coordinating across multiple IPTs and other project managers to ensure that all of the products that our team is producing are high quality, that all of the documents are in alignment, that all the requirements from the customer have been well addressed, and that all documents are worked thru configuration management. This leader will need to work with the team leadership to establish the quality review process, will need to communicate status to leadership and stakeholders, will need to develops mechanisms for monitoring their project progress and for intervention and problem solving with other project managers, IPT leads, and leadership

To accomplish this we are looking for someone with a strong technical background who also has a strong program management background or who has other similar experience and skills that allow them to drive the quality of these artifacts.

Basic Qualifications:

Active secret clearance or higher and ability to attain SAP clearances

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a program/project manager, or an ability to show a strong working knowledge of the program documentation and processes like an IMS, IMP, WBS, Risk matrix, etc.

Engineering or other STEM degree and working experience, or an ability to show a strong working knowledge and experience leading engineers

Ability to coordinate and work with multidiscipline teams

Knowledge and experience with configuration management

Preferred experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Program Manager

Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

A STEM degree and working experience in a STEM position

Masters of Business Administration (MBA)

CAMEO experience

Large capture experience

Salary range: $122,000 - $183,000

Salary Range: $122,000 USD - $183,000 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
