The Program Manager 3 manages a program or a function within the larger organizational unit, setting & operating to objectives & providing guidance to subordinates based on goals, objectives & company policy. Program Manager responsibilities include planning, risk management, and project performance addressing cost, schedule, and technical quality for related Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) elements on a large system development-type contract or full responsibility for all aspects of program performance on a large technical services-type contract. The Program Manager 3 directs all phases of programs from inception through completion. Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs. Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract. Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.


The ideal candidate will be team-oriented and have the ability to work with other professionals collaboratively, ideally possess agility to adapt to constantly changing demands, and demonstrate capability to take on new ever-changing challenges. Advanced proficiency at multi-tasking and managing priorities for leadership team members is required. This position is extremely pivotal to the success of a well-run, efficient operation and the successful candidate will demonstrate how they have supported prior teams through organization, self-motivation and task ownership skills, with the ability to accomplish duties in a high-impact, time sensitive environment.


   

Basic Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree with 9 years or experience; Master’s degree with 7 years of experience; 15 years of experience in lieu of a degree with a master’s degree.  Experience must be in an Operations environment.

·         Proficient with Microsoft Suite with an emphasis on Word, Excel and Power Point.

·         Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Clearance and Program Special Access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

Salary range: $147,700 - 221,500

This position reports to Saint Augustine, FL, USA, however, this position can also be worked from Melbourne, FL, FL, USA.


Salary Range: $147,700 USD - $221,500 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
