Northrop Grumman's CISO Office is seeking a Manager of Operations 2, The Operations role, reporting into the Cyber Security organization, is responsible for the operational and strategic projects within the Cyber organization. Located in Falls Church, VA, or would consider other NG locations, the duties include but are not limited to:

  • Administrative and Operational execution of the office of the CISO
  • Chief of Staff for CISO
  • Supporting delivery on commitments internal and external
  • Driving financial management and execution (monitoring)
  • Drives execution of strategic initiatives and tasks initiated by the CISO by working with cross-functional teams and business leaders across the organization.
  • Establishes agenda for CISO leadership team meetings, business reviews and other key sector meetings.
  • Prepares a monthly/quarterly management report and coordinates the development, review and monthly reporting of the Sector Operating Objectives (SOOs) and non-financial metrics.
  • Submits monthly reporting on SOO and Dashboards for OCIO leadership meetings
  • Develops and coordinates the review of all talking points and speeches for internal and external appearances.
  • Focus point for communication and collaboration representing Cybersecurity for the sector functions.
  • Support organizational change projects and initiatives that help achieve business objectives as needed.
  • Take initiative in advancing individual projects aligned to Heritage Enterprise Services, OCIO and business goals.
  • Navigate ambiguous situations and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Support the CISO and presentations in major meetings and events, reviewing the agenda and the pre and post interactions to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Supports the CISO in cultivation of relationships with strategic partners and other stakeholders.
  • The Ops Manager is responsible for strategy integration, execution of the Cyber Security & Privacy technical operations, estimating and resource planning initiatives to meet current and future organizational needs. 
  • Driving common people processes across OCIO homerooms; ensure execution of a common resource management functions inclusive of staffing fulfillment and redeployment
  • Interfacing with Human Resources and Talent Acquisition on human capital strategies including staffing, retention and development

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience
  • Must have 5 years of experience leading or managing a team or project
  • Experience in developing and managing processes across large organizations
  • Strategic thinker with demonstrated ability to operate and communicate at both a strategic and a hands-on level as needed. Leader with excellent judgment and capable of autonomous decision making.
  • DoD Secret clearance required, Ability to obtain and maintain a special access clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math
  • An in-depth knowledge and experience with the resource management process inclusive of staffing/redeployment/release processes
  • Experience as a functional manager
  • Recent experience supporting VP and Director level executives
  • Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills, as well as project management, analytical, planning and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build and foster effective relationships with others
  • Leadership roles in major program relocation, major employee redeployment and retention assessments
  • Highly advanced Microsoft PowerPoint & Excel skills.

Salary Range: $147,800 USD - $221,800 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
