Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Sr. Principal Industrial Security Analyst to support the security program under our Launch Vehicles Business Unit as it relates to all applicable classified federal, contractual, customer and company requirements. The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: supporting fast-paced, high-profile programs; create, maintain and leverage working relationships with internal and external customers. Develops, and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Routinely support new business pursuits and classified solicitation activities.

The individual selected for this position will serve as the Counterintelligence and Insider Threat program lead to the business unit and will report directly to the Facility Security Officer. This role will be responsible for implementing a comprehensive counterintelligence (CI) and Insider Threat program for the facility. The individual selected must have broad CI investigative experience and contemporary knowledge of key threats posed by foreign adversaries against the Defense Industrial Base. The successful candidate will be expected to establish strategic partnerships with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) and within the United States Intelligence Community (USIC). As the lead for this program, this position will act as a CI/Insider Threat subject matter expert that provides investigative and analytical support to both the business unit and the Enterprise security teams.
 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Engage with both internal and external stakeholders to identify CI vulnerabilities
  • Recommend and develop threat countermeasures based on threat analysis, intelligence, trends, and forecasting
  • Create concise reports detailing the factual outcome of all investigations using approved standardized formats
  • Conduct CI awareness briefings to include basic CI principles and program-specific applications
  • Generate CI and Insider Threat metrics by documenting all activities
  • Assist the embedded security team in enhancing program protection plans by developing CI support plans
  • Provide foreign travel briefings and debriefings to program personnel
  • Provide conference and tradeshow CI defensive briefings to program personnel
  • Brief internal customers (e.g., Human Resources, first level management, Ethics) and external authorities (e.g., local/state/federal law enforcement) on relevant findings on a need-to-know bases or as authorized by NG Legal
  • Lead for OPSEC and supply chain security
  • Perform other duties as necessary

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10 Years of experience with Bachelor’s; 8 years with Master’s
  • Candidate must have and be able to maintain an Active U.S. Government security clearance at the Top Secret level with a background investigation date within the last 6 years
  • Working knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117, NISPOM Supplements, DoDM 5205/07 V1-4, ICD 705, and ISLs.
  • Working knowledge of DoD classified programs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree
  • Prior USIC (i.e. DIA, FBI, CIA) experience
  • Experience working CI and counterterrorism matters
  • Previous SAP/SCI experience
  • Completion of the FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities IS030.CU curriculum located on the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency’s (DCSA) Security Training, Education and Professionalization Portal (STEPP). 
  • DCSA CDSE certification (SFPC, PSC, etc.) desired

Salary Range: $92,400 USD - $138,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
