Support the activities of the COAST and AMP Software Projects as a member of the SCM team

  • Support SDRB/SCCB activities
  • Maintain and update Discrepancy Report (DR) databases
  • Produce multiple weekly agendas and minutes
  • Manage meetings
  • Includes scheduling, running, and sometimes flipping charts
  • Timely responsiveness to a high volume of email traffic
  • Formal document control/release
  • Assist Software Project personnel in the release of their documents through this process
  • Maintain and publish build plan
  • Contribute to process improvements as we transition to new, more Agile, ways of accomplishing the goals of SCM
  • Contribute to training new team members in the SCM Data Management tasks and in help software project personnel better understand those processes as well

Both of the large software teams that we support are going through a transformation to the Agile/DevOps tools and processes and this team is providing critical support to that transformation. In your role you will have the opportunity to be a part of the transformation of the SDRB process and more, sharing your ideas with the team as we make decisions and work with the management and development teams to ensure we offer the best version of the new tools and processes as we move forward.

This is the position for you if you are a self-starter who is able to prioritize and keep track of multiple requests and tasks. There will be times when extended work hours could be necessary to stay ahead of deadlines. You will definitely be challenged, but you will be joining a team of knowledgeable and dedicated professionals who will not hesitate to work with you to ensure the success of your efforts.

Basic Qualifications – A01

  • Current SCI or TS with ability to obtain and SCI
  • Bachelor degree OR 4 years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Proficient with MS Word and Excel
  • Comfortable formatting documents and working with tables, figures, and TOCs

Preferred Qualifications - A01

  • Experience or familiarity with Enovia/eMatrix
  • Experience with Atlassian Tools – Jira, Confluence (or similar)
  • Experience or familiarity with ClearQuest
  • Familiarity with MS Visio
  • Exposure to basic Linux commands (helpful)

Basic Qualifications – A02

  • Current SCI or TS with ability to obtain and SCI
  • Bachelor degree + 2 years of experience OR Masters degree OR 6 years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Solid Proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Able to work in Word with tables, figures, automatic numbering, TOC, PDF conversion

Preferred Qualifications - A02

  • Hands on experience with Enovia/eMatrix
  • Experience with Atlassian Tools – Jira, Confluence (or similar)
  • Experience or familiarity with ClearQuest
  • Exposure to basic Linux commands (helpful)
  • Experience with MS Visio
  • Previous experience on a Software project

Salary Range: $56,300 USD - $84,500 USD
Salary Range 2: $68,100 USD - $102,100 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
