Triton Systems Engineering, Integration & Test (SEIT) Configuration/Change Data Management (CDM) team has an opening for a Principal Configuration Analyst.

Responsibilities will include:

* Perform configuration management and release engineering tasks for all VMS (VMS IMMC/VTC Software, CLS Software, G&C, Avionics), including preparing, authoring, submitting, guiding the VMS Change Notice though the Teamcenter Enterprise Document Release Lifecycle.

* Generate weekly VMS Software Review Board agenda and document minutes. Produce software metric collection/reports based on VMS Software Review Board data.

* Facilitate Software Rework meetings.

* Able to audit software processes and procedures and provide training to the team. Participate as the focal point of contact to prepare for and support SQA/Sector audits.

* Track and manage software licenses, including managing licenses for lab assets, SITS, HB, dev station.  Adding automated build.

* Perform software media releases. Executes builds and releases per program schedules to ensure reproducible software configuration baselines. Prepare code packages for release and disks.

* Provide Change Integration support for CR/ECP.  Verify CR/ECP template is accurate and up to date. Assist with JIRA related tasks for TAM data extraction, reaching out to stake holders, etc.

* Act as the CDM and Contracts liaison.

* Update/verify documents are using up to date templates/ data rights markings to ensure Program and Customer requirements are met.

* Conduct SharePoint pre-team center peer reviews with IPTs and customer.

* Support ClearQuest WTS related activities and conversion to JIRA tickets

* Act as moderator on software reviews.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 6 Years with Bachelors; 4 Years with Masters.
  • Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance or higher.
  • Knowledge of software/hardware configuration, data and change management principles and proficiency in the use of configuration management tools.
  • Must be skilled in Microsoft Word, MS excel.
  • Experience following documented rules and guidelines to ensure technical content meets internal and customer requirements.
  • This position is required to work on-site minimum one day a week (Wednesdays) and as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with and comprehensive understanding of software development, including current SCM industry standards and practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management.
  • Previous experience in an Aerospace or DoD environment.
  • Experience developing macros and scripts to assist with automating tasks and gathering data for CDRLs.


Salary Range: $86,300 USD - $129,500 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
