Northrop Grumman Space Systems is currently seeking a Food Service Associate 1/2. This position is located at the Promontory Utah facility.
Candidate will support facilities at Clearfield, and the Conference Center in Ogden Canyon and must be willing to travel 25-50% of the time.
Role description & Responsibilities:
Demonstrate safe and proper operation of equipment, machines, and utensils used in high quantity food preparation and serving operations.
Clean relevant service, preparation and storage areas.
Operate P.O.S. system and credit card transactions. Preform basic mathematical computations.
Must be a team player who can work well under pressure and effectively solve problems without supervision.
Demonstrate superior customer service.
Take direction and work independently with little to no supervision.
Able to carry loads greater than 35 pounds and be able to transport up to 70 pounds regularly.
Shift Schedule: Monday thru Friday 5:30am – 2:30pm (Every other Friday is Off)
Basic Qualifications:
This position can be filled at either a level 01 or level 02
Basic Qualifications for a level 01:
High School Diploma
0-2 years’ relevant experience
In possession or have the ability to obtain appropriate food handling certification or serve safe training.
Food service experience in a fast-paced environment
ServSafe or Food Handlers Certification within 30 days of hire date
Basic Qualifications for a level 02:
High School Diploma
2-4 years’ relevant experience
In possession or have the ability to obtain appropriate food handling certification or serve safe training.
Minimum of 2 years food service experience in a fast-paced environment
ServSafe or Food Handlers Certification within 30 days of hire date
