Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector is looking for a highly motivated individual to serve as a Training Liaison Officer at Fort Rucker Alabama, as part of a team supporting a dynamic and challenging mission. This individual will report directly to the Chief, CONUS Support Team (CST). Individual would be responsible for providing administrative, advisement, and logistics support to the permanent party assigned Ministry of the Saudi Arabian National Guard (MNG) Country Liaison Officer (CLO), MNG International Military Students (IMS), and authorized dependents training at U.S. military training centers and schools. As required, individual would provide administrative and logistical support to MNG distinguished visitors.
The Training Liaison Officer performs a variety of activities in support of functional areas such as reporting and records keeping, preparing expense reports, answering phones, monitoring emails, preparing for and coordinating customer interface and customer visits, as well as, generating and maintaining internal file systems and records. Individual will be expected to handle sensitive personnel and information. Gathers, collects, records, tracks and verifies data and information from multiple sources. Compiles, reviews and analyzes data. Uses software for functional area, to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations. May design processes to enhance workflow. Provides data and information to others on functional unit processes and procedures.
The candidate must be proactive, well-organized, dependable and have the ability to work with minimal supervision. He/she must be a team player, possess effective communication, and excellent interpersonal skills. The position requires a high degree of professionalism, presence, flexibility, diplomacy, judgment, discretion, the ability to multitask, and work independently. Must coordinate and host meetings as required and be able to effectively interface with customers.
Provides data and information as directed by the Chief, CST in order to meet requirements for Vinnell Arabia (VA) and the Office of the Program Manager, Saudi Arabian National Guard (OPM-SANG) to include other supporting agencies, on functional program requirements, and operational issues.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education or relevant experience
- 6 years of related work experience.
- Must possess exceptional inter-personal/written communication skills.
- Must be able to travel on short notice and spend frequent, and brief periods of time away from worksite.
- Must be computer literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Professional suite/software.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license in the state where employed.
- Must be available to work after duty hours, weekends, and holidays or as mission dictates.
- Must be capable of preparing reports and correspondence.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Business Associate degree or equivalent certification.
- Possess knowledge of the Ministry of the Saudi Arabian National Guard (MNG) Modernization Program.
- Possess basic knowledge of Middle Eastern customs & courtesies or experience working with military Foreign Nationals.
- Fluency in the Arabic language.
- Possess basic knowledge and familiarity of U.S. Army training doctrine.
- Ability to work with Foreign National families and dependents.
- Have practical work experience and/or knowledge of Saudi Arabia.
- U.S. Army Aviation experience.
