Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for an Executive Assistant to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This opportunity will be located in Palmdale.
This position will be reporting to Vice President and provides a broad range of administrative support, requiring excellent organization and multi-tasking capabilities, as well as the ability to interact confidentially with all levels of leadership. The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, diverse assignments, and a collaborative/team setting.

Roles and responsibilities of the Executive Assistant will include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Providing administrative support to the program leadership as assigned
- Collecting and preparing information for use in discussions/meetings of executive staff and external customers
- Analyzing data to determine root cause of complex problems and to identify solutions.
- Facilitating program meetings, executive meetings, customer visits, and other events
- Arranging executive level travel arrangements to include reservation of the company plane.
- Demonstrating a wide and comprehensive acquaintance with, and understanding of, both general and specific aspects of the job and their practical application to complex problems and situations ordinarily encountered at the executive level.
- Operating independently to meet the requirements of the leadership team and offering expertise to assist other functions within organization.
- Report generation and compilation
- Handling details of a highly confidential and critical nature
- Making high level contacts of a sensitive nature both within and outside of the company
- Exercising strong judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED and a minimum of 8 years’ experience to include Executive Assistant experience.
- Advanced experience in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and SharePoint)
- Demonstrated ability to interface with executive level contacts (internal and external)
- Demonstrated ability to efficiently coordinate Outlook calendar, meetings, and other events/activities
- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance (last investigation completed within the last 6 years) as well as ability to obtain Special Program Access.
- Ability to travel up to 25%
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or associate’s degree
- Familiarity with Northrop Grumman’s systems (SAP, Concur, Facilities requests, IBUY, etc.)
- Knowledge of NGC resources, policies, and procedures
- Advanced experience with Concur (or similar) travel and expense reporting system
- Special Program access
- Active Secret Clearance
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
