This position will be located onsite in Elkton, Maryland. Northrop Grumman’s Propulsion Systems & Controls (PS&C) Operating Unit is on a 550-acre campus in Elkton, Maryland. PS&C is the premier advanced propulsion provider for hypersonic, missile defense and space systems, and strategic programs. Our facility began solid-propellant rocket operations in 1948. Today, our facility designs, develops, and produces solid-propellant propulsion systems for a wide variety of Government and commercial customers, and is home to the Hypersonics Capability Center. PS&C’s Elkton plant is where the advanced propulsion manufacturing, development and testing for products such as high-performance solid propellant boosters and controllable propulsion, hypersonic ramjet and scramjet propulsion, and electronic subsystems for thrust vectoring and attitude control systems occurs. The facility also serves as the hub for offsite engineering and test facilities in Ronkonkoma, NY and Palm Beach Gardens, FL.
Elkton, Maryland is located on the Upper Chesapeake Bay, midway between Philadelphia and Baltimore. We are seeking experienced and motivated professionals who are looking to return to the workforce after a career break of a minimum of 2 years for various professional roles within multiple Engineering disciplines including but not limited to: Electrical, Systems, Mission Assurance (Quality), Environmental, Test, Manufacturing, Propulsion and Mechanical Engineering.
The Northrop Grumman iReturn program provides experienced professionals with internal support, mentors, and connections with other iReturning employee to transition back to a full-time career in one of several fields at Northrop Grumman through training, professional development, and networking opportunities. This "Returnship" program focuses on providing you with a seamless transition back into the workforce.
Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance. As well as, have prior work experience in the discipline in which they looking to return.
