Northrop Grumman Corporation (NGC) is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for multiple systems on the F/A-18F and EA-18G platforms. We therefore have an obligation to provide data and advice to Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) and Air Combat Electronic Attack Sustainment Program (ACEASP) to ensure that these systems are being managed effectively and support is provided.

Your Role

We are now seeking Mechanical/Structures Engineers to join the Super Hornet team based at RAAF Base Amberley. As well as providing mechanical and structural designs, you will be assessing engineering design changes and updates to Authorised Maintenance Data (AMD); performing Technical Information Reviews and; liaising closely with our maintenance team to provide technical assistance and timely engineering solutions to reported non-conformances or deficiencies with AMD.

About You

To apply, your relevant degree will be supported by a keen understanding of the Defence Aviation Safety Regulations, or equivalent regulatory framework plus a working knowledge of DASA/CASA Regulations. Previous delegation of Engineering Authority on an ADF Platform would be useful as would be experience liaising with Commonwealth customers. The ability to identify, establish and promote engineering process improvements and tools within an organisational element and at an organisational level would be ideal.
