Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is actively seeking an Information Product Trainer to fill a role that requires a broad array of knowledge and skills working with team members to support the PPB BOS program.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with an impeccable work ethic and a strong ability to work in a collaborative fast-moving dynamic team environment. This position will be located in Fairfax, VA and will require frequent travel to the Pentagon. The candidate will be a member of the engineering team chartered with providing the skills, innovative technologies to design, develop, produce and sustain product lines across while providing a decisive advantage to our customer’s missions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop, and coordinate product-training programs for Government customer and support personnel.
  • Obtain information needed to prepare training programs; prepare training materials; develop course content; determine methodology; and coordinate the development of training aids.
  • Conduct training sessions and develop criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities. May utilize trainers with technical expertise.
  • Continuously revise lesson plans to meet new training requirements and to keep technical information fresh, up to date.
  • The trainer will need to conduct both classroom and virtual training sessions for multiple applications.

This is a dual level opportunity. We are open to candidates that qualify for a level 1 or level 2.

Basic Qualifications:

Level 1 Requirements:

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • BS degree, STEM, in Information Technology or a related field
  • Experience in technical training with Government customers
  • Familiar with tools like Adobe Captivate, Articulate Studio, Adobe Photoshop etc. or similar tools.
  • The willingness and ability to travel locally up to 50% of the time.

Level 2 Requirements:

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • BS degree STEM, in Information Technology or a related field and 3 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in technical training with Government customers
  • Familiar with tools like Adobe Captivate, Articulate Studio, Adobe Photoshop etc. or similar tools.
  • The willingness and ability to travel locally up to 50% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous Knowledge or Experience with Army Equipping Enterprise System (AE2S) system
  • Knowledge of DoD or Army financial systems or budget processing.
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence reporting tools such as OBIEE, Tableau, Qlik.
  • Experience with classroom and web-based trainings, train-the-trainer, One on One support, and Q&A.

Salary Range: 50000 - 75000
Salary Range 2: 61000 - 90000

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
