What You’ll get to Do:

The Software Engineer will design, develop, document, test and debug application software and special data processing systems. Candidate will participate in designing code solutions while working as part of a small team. Teams are comprised of other software engineers of various experience levels. Some interaction with users is expected. Team interactions include brainstorming, design guidance, requirements resolution and group coding best practices. This is a great opportunity for a flexible self-starter to work in a dynamic environment with real world technical content supporting a number of tools and systems. Good written and verbal skills are important.

Basic Qualifications for a Software Engineer:

  • 2+ years of software development experience with a Bachelor’s degree; 0 years of relevant software development experience with a Master's degree; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret level clearance and obtain program access (PAR)
  • Experience in Linux/Unix environments at command line interface
  • Experience with Java, C++ or other OOP
  • Demonstrated experience in researching software solutions
  • Familiarity or experience with Agile software development methodologies, i.e. Scrum, Kanban, SAFe
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical personnel

  • Background in aerospace engineering
  • Experience with large system integration
  • Experience with shell and/or python scripting
  • Quick learner and self-starter
  • Experience with deployment support
  • Experience with Spring Framework
  • Experience creating/modifying work flows and automation
  • Experience with Cloud Technologies
  • Experience with XML and other data formats
  • Experience algorithm development and implementation
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Modelling and Simulation experience

Salary Range: 78600 - 118000
Salary Range 2: 96900 - 145300

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
