Northrop Grumman Space Systems sector is seeking an Sr. Principal (Level 4) Electronic Engineer  to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.  This position will be located in Azusa, CA. This position will report into the Hardware Engineering team within the Payload & Ground Systems division.

The Payload and Ground Systems organization within the Northrop Grumman Space Systems pushes the boundaries of innovation, redefines engineering capabilities, and drives advances in various sciences. The successful applicant will get the opportunity to perform design and analysis of power supply and other electronic circuits required for multiple Military and Civil space programs.  The position requires working with multi-discipline functions in a team environment to ensure that the product meets requirements.   Specific assignments may include performing design, analysis, test and deriving requirements for power supply and analog circuits for use in space programs.  Task may include circuit card assembly part selection, signal integrity and power integrity analysis, trade studies, and troubleshooting to support anomaly resolution during system integration and test.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) & 9 years of related power supply and analog design, analysis and test experience, OR a Master’s Degree in a STEM field & 7 years of related power supply and analog design, analysis, and test experience
  • Previous usage of PSpice or other ECAD tools for analysis of power and analog circuits
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance (US Citizenship Required)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with PSpice or other ECAD analysis tools
  • 10+ years in power supply and analog circuit design, analysis and test experience
  • Active & current Secret Clearance

Salary Range: 125500 - 188300

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
