Northrop Grumman Space Systems Sector is seeking a Program Cost Schedule & Control Analyst (Level 2) to join its team of qualified, diverse individuals who support our Strategic Force Business Unit in Azusa, CA. This role will predominately report on-site in Azusa, but we can accommodate partial telework that is dependent upon business/program need.

Roles and Responsibilities includes, but are not limited to the following:

  • Sets up cost control system, monitors and controls costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system.
  • Performs analyses and prepares reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines.
  • Prepares budgets and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis.
  • Run weekly reports of actuals cost incurred and prepare reports to compare the variance between budgeted work and actual cost incurred
  • Work with control account managers, business managers, and program managers to maintain accurate records of expenditures
  • Maintain earned value compliance including cost/schedule integration
  • Create financial charts in support of program management and program reviews
  • Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government.
  • Incorporates contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree & 3 years of finance, accounting, and/or EVMS (Earned Value Management System) experience, OR a Master’s Degree & 1 year of experience in accounting, finance, and/or EVMS
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications to include intermediate experience with Excel (Charts, Pivot Tables and Basic Formulas)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD (Department of Defense) Secret Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business & 4+ years of experience
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Knowledge of SAP, MPM and Cobra
  • AOP/LRSP Experience
  • Balance Sheet/Income Statement Experience    

Salary Range: $68,100 USD - $102,100 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
