Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector seeks a Contracts Representative Level 2 or 3 to join its team in Linthicum, Maryland.  This position will support the F-35 Program.


The F-35 program is looking for a team member to support its fast-paced and growing business. This position requires a background in DoD contracting, excellent written and verbal communication skills.


The Contract Administrator will be required to deal effectively with competing priorities/deadline and manage multiple tasks. The Contracts Administrator must possess the ability to work well with F-35 Program Directors and Business Managers on high-visibility programs, effectively deal with external customers, and meet the goals/objectives of the F-35 program team.


General job responsibilities include: Administers, extends, negotiates and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts. Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Advises program team and management of contractual rights and obligations. Identifies areas of program risk and develops business strategy options for risk mitigation.


Job Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications Band 2:

Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of Business, Law or related work experience

Master’s degree with 1+ years of Business, Law or related work experience

Knowledge of Microsoft Office

Must be able to obtain / maintain a DoD Secret Clearance

Basic Qualifications Band 3:

Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of Business, Law or related work experience

Master’s degree with 4+ years of Business, Law or related work experience

Knowledge of Microsoft Office

Must be able to maintain a DoD Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

3+ years of DoD Contracts Experience

Active DoD Secret Clearance

Salary Range: $65,000 USD - $97,600 USD
Salary Range 2: $80,100 USD - $120,100 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
